Today was right out of our loss SOP this season. Get down 3 or so runs
early, struggle at the plate with marginal outside pitches, get too tight and never recover.

As much as I hate looking ahead it appears we just miss the ACC Tourney bye
unless Loserville loses twice at NC State ( and we sweep Syracuse, of course) correct?

We were not hosting and the team knows it. Maybe that led to this funk.
Whatever is going on the coaches need to right the ship fast or this meltdown could be one for the ages, and God knows VT teams have seen some doozies.

Every phase has tanked. This is a 22-23 Liberty team we are flailing
against. Pitching, fielding, batting in the dumpster. Last week we beat this team 9-0. I really wanted to believe we had something special going on but something turned last Saturday and it is a deep funk.

GT had not won at TSP since 2011 until last Saturday.

Regional assignments are structured to prevent teams from the same conference from facing each other in the initial regional round outside the 16 host sites.

We were going to be a stretch to host anyway, even if we won won Sunday
and won out to the ACC tourney.
Dook is riding high and too close to Bburg.
Now the focus has to be get in a favorable region and seed.
